May 28, 2016 - Tyler Reddick took advantage of an off weekend with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) to return to his Dirt Late Model roots over the weekend. He piloted the Childress Fishing & Rentals #F5 entry with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) during the 24th Annual Lucas Oil Show Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri).

On Thursday there were 57-entries registered for action. Tyler was battling for a transfer spot in his heat race, when he made contact with another car causing him to spin. After starting on the tail of the b-main he fell just short of transferring to the feature.

Friday night found the team back in action. Reddick would flirt with a transfer spot throughout the night before again coming up one spot short of a transfer.

On Saturday night Reddick would charge through the pack in his consolation event but would fall just shy of moving onto the 100-lap finale as his weekend came to an early end.

"I hate that we didn't make the show, but it was really a fun weekend with a lot of really tough competition," said Reddick. "I want to thank Mr. Childress and his entire team for having me drive their car. Hopefully we'll have better luckk next time."

1May 6, 2016 - There was good news and bad news for Tyler Reddick (@TylerReddick) in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race Friday night at Kansas Speedway.

The good news: the driver of the Cooper Standard Ford F-150 led four times for 56 laps and otherwise ran with the leaders throughout race.  The not so good news: he didn't get the finish he deserved.

Reddick started third and flexed the muscle in his No. 29 Ford F-150 from the moment the initial green flag waved, stacking traffic three-wide in Turn 1 to grab the lead.  He held the top spot through the first caution on lap 3 and until the Caution Clock expired on lap 45.  Excellent pit work kept Reddick in the lead when the race went back green on lap 49, and he held the lead for the next 10 laps. <<MORE>>
