1May 30th, 2014 - Tyler Reddick made his much-anticipated return to NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) competition over the weekend with a trip to Dover International Speedway (Dover, Delaware) for the Lucas Oil 200.

While rain drenched the "Monster Mile" on Thursday, washing away practice Tyler made his debut at the one mile oval on Friday with a pair of practice sessions. Tyler enjoyed great performances in both sessions as he consistently turned laps that put him in the top five on the leaderboard. His experience gained in practice led to him earning the fifth starting spot via qualifying for the 200 lap finale in his #19 BKR/Broken Bow Records/Reese Towpower Ford F-150.

At a very tricky race track Reddick raced his way into the third position in the early laps of the event. In fact he ran in the third spot for the first half of the race as his lap times matched those of the leader, Kyle Bush. However, slight handling issues caused him to slip back in the field to the 12th position just past the halfway point. The team was able to make the necessary adustments, but not before Reddick lost a lap.

Despite losing the lap Tyler recovered late in the race to make his way back into the top ten. Over the final laps he staged a great side-by-side battle with German Quiroga Jr. for the eight position. The closing circuits found Reddick finally clearing Quiroga Jr. for the spot as he went on to streak across the finish line in the eighth position for the best NCWTS finish of his young career.

After successful practices in the past few months Tyler Reddick and Team BKR now eagerly anticipate the possibilities for the upcoming Winston World Resort and Casino 400 at the lightning-fast Texas Motor Speedway (Justin, Texas) on Friday, June 6th. The green flag drops at 8 p.m. cst.
