Tyler at Putnamville and Kokomo Speedways ~"Just getting seat time!"
|
| |
Tyler Reddick Racing has been busy accumulating seat time in the 410 sprint car. Things have been going very well with Tyler showing signs of improvement each night out.
In the short time that Tyler has been running the 410 at various tracks, he has accumulated 2 heat race wins and started better than 1/2 the features.
With the types of things that can go wrong with a new program a couple of additional great runs got away as we learned our equipment. One was a great heat race run at Bloomington that would have place Tyler near the front of the feature event that night. But with oil being blown out of the engine it appeared that he should retire.
Tyler has been under strict guidelines from dad (crewcheif) to only run at about 80% when in traffic and leave plenty of room for error. Not just his error's but the other drivers as well. In addition to those instructions he has also be told to retire if there is any contact on the track with anything.
I've seen to many sprinters come apart after contact racing and for now Tyler will have to fold his hand if we draw any contact until the crew can inspect the car.
Tyler we'll be back at Putnamville and Kokomo this coming weekend.
Thanks,
Tyler Reddick Racing
