Sorry for the slow update, with being out on the road it's very hard to find go internet access at different remote areas. Here is our latest news!
Tyler Reddick MotorSports rolled into Path Valley Speedway for what was the 3rd round of racing under the PA Speedweek. Tyler hit the track coming off a very good night of racing the night before at Lincoln speedway where "the california kid" drove himself from a rear starting position into the feature event with a record 98 cars participating. Sadly to say, the event took more fuel than the team anticipated and
Tyler was ready for action more than ever and hit the track with a very fast racecar. Tyler took the win in his heat and had earned the pole for the feature event. From the start the "Kid" rocketed off and walked off out front.
With the track conditions changing and what proved later to be a motor that was starting to fail, the "the california kid" started slightly falling off the lead pace and brought it home in 4th place. After the race
The oil fill cap had come off the night before letting the motor force out over 2 qts of oil. We serviced the motor and headed into the night with our fingers crossed that it would be okay. After two nights of racing and even with being DQ'd at Lincoln Tyler rolled into the next night in 15th position in points out of first by only 25 points and over 115 participants. Two laps into practice just before his scheduled feature the motor gave up. Clearly the motor was hurt and never came to full speed before letting go. With it being the only motor in our camp, we'll being heading home tomorrow. Everyone was very nice and awesome to race with! Thank you to everyone for putting on a great event.
